Creator InformationThank you for your interest in being a creator for Cdrama Gotcha for Gaza. We allow the following types of creations: fanfiction, fanart, fanvids, and gifs/graphics.There is no set requirements as to word count, art type, etc. We don't want creators who are taking on multiple prompts to get burned out. Please just do what you are able to with the prompts you are given.Although under eighteen creators are allowed to sign up, you cannot take on NSFW prompts. We are disallowing dead dove content in this event, not because we don't encourage people in fandom to create what they wish, but because due to the large amount of fandoms we're dealing with and the fact that there will be a limited amount of people able create for each fandom, we think it will make it difficult to match people up. If you aren't sure if an idea you have would constitute dead dove, please ask us.After you've signed up, you will receive an email from us with further information, including a link to a google doc where all assignments and requests will be archived. You will receive an EMAIL with your assignments as well, and we ask that you do respond to it for confirmation. Assignments will go out as the event occurs, and you are welcome to post finished fanworks even while donations are still open.Please, please be specific on your form. If there is anything you can't handle; ships, triggers, etc., let us know. If you are willing to do multiple kinds of fanworks, please fill out a form for each kind of fanwork you can do. I.E. if you are an artist and a writer, you must fill out the form twice. This is very important. We do not want to, for example, give you a fandom you may be willing to draw, but you wouldn't be willing to write.If you receive a prompt you are uncomfortable with, DM us on discord, or email us, and we will reassign it. Do this as soon as possible.
Donation Information5.00 USD gets you ONE SFW fanwork. This can be fanart, fanfiction, a vid, or graphics/gifs. You will be able to specify which kind of fanwork you most wish to receive, but it is not a guarantee.8.00 USD gets you ONE NSFW fanwork. This can be fanart, fanfiction, a vid, or graphics/gifs. You will be able to specify which kind of fanwork you most wish to receive, but it is not a guarantee.Of course, you can donate as much as you like. These are just the baselines!You can donate as many times as you want, but you must fill out a different form for each donation and prompt that you request.There is a list of fandoms people have volunteered to do fanworks in the 'available fandoms' section of our carrd.If you are requesting a prompt that has only one person creating for that fandom, we ask you to please give us a backup prompt from another series, just in case that person is unavailable or unable to fill your prompt. You must also request something that fulfills the parameters that single creator has given on the fandom section of our carrd.In the (in our view unlikely) situation that there is no one able to fill a prompt that you give, we will contact you and request another one. If you are donating to receive a fandom where fewer people are signed up, we suggest you try to get in early so the available 'slots' aren't filled up. If it gets to the point where everyone who has offered a specific fandom has already been assigned the maximum number of fanworks, and there is no one available to take pinch hits for it, that fandom will be removed from the offered fandoms list.If you are requesting graphic/gif or vid, please make sure it's something that can be created from canon footage.In addition to the section of our carrd that shows available fandoms, we also have a post linked on that page that shows the exact amount of people signed up for each fandom.Happy donating and requesting!Donations will be to CAREFORGAZA, which provides direct aid to displaced people in Palestine.You may also donate to the following VERIFIED gofundmes:

FAQWhat are the dates of this event?CREATOR SIGNUPS will run from March 30th, 2024 to April 14, 2024, giving you a full two weeks to sign up.DONATIONS will run from April 15, 2024 to April 30th, 2024, giving you a full two weeks to sign up.ALL FANWORKS must be completed by two weeks after donations close, which is May 14, 2024.There is no time zone requirement. As long as it is still the allotted date somewhere in the world, you are still on time.What am I required to do as a creator?While we ask that you put genuine effort into your piece, but we do not have specific requirements. Word count, as well as how detailed your fanart, vid, or graphics are, is up to you.You will be able to tell us in the signup form how many pieces you are willing to do. If at some point during the donation drive, you realize you will not be able to do as many pieces as you signed up for (or alternatively, that you can do MORE), please let us know!Can I sign up if I don't have tumblr or twitter?Yes! You will just need to email the finished piece to us, and we will link to it on the main account. You may also post anonymously this way, if you wish.Do I have to post on both twitter and tumblr?No. You can if you wish, and we will share on both, but you only need to post on one. Your recipient will be linked to it by us, if they're not on your social media of choice.What fandoms exactly are allowed?Chinese drama series. Movies, novels, and animated shows (donghua) are not allowed. You can request, for example, The Untamed, but you can't request the Mo Dao Zushi novel, manhua, or donghua.You MAY sign up to create for a drama that is not from mainland China as long as it is in a Chinese language (i.e. Taiwanese drama).I want to donate more money.You can donate what you wish!
